Webinar #1 on the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease.
What is dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and how is a diagnosis established? Before any treatment occurs,
however promising, the exact cause of the symptoms should be carefully determined, as many causes of dementia
exist, and Alzheimer’s, is only one type.
Even Alzheimer’s may have many causes and “risk factors,” and treatment should be focused on the cause(s) or
risk factors determined as much as possible by science-based, diagnostic technologies. For instance, are infections
such as chronic lyme disease a factor? What about dental problems?
Should a patient be treated for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease before having all the information to establish
a primary cause(s), assuming that some of these etiologies are only likely but not conclusively proven? Given the
expense of laboratory testing, how far should a clinician go to uncover potentially treatable causes? Who is
entitled to have the intensive diagnostic “work-up”?
Webinar #2 on the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease.
A model of global brain healing, the 7 Rs, will be presented, to lay the groundwork for further discussion and
for more intensive therapeutic interventions.
The 7 R’s of Brain Healing are:
1) Replenish Basic Brain Nutrition
2) Revive the Gastro - Intestinal Tract (GI)
3) Reduce Brain Oxidative Stress and Inflammation
4) Repair Neurons (Brain Cells)
5) Remove Neurotoxins (Brain/Nerve Poisons)
6) Restore Neurotransmitters/Hormones
7) Relinquish Stress using mindfulness-based psychotherapies
Webinar #3 on the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease.
Novel and intensive therapies to address the risk factors of the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease, including
Relox Therapy and other oxidative therapies, will be discussed.
The brain is 2-3% of the body’s weight, and it consumes 20-30% of the body’s oxygen, blood flow and sugar at
rest. Are the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease primarily an oxidative and vascular issue, that is, an interruption
of proper oxygenation of the brain?
Evidence exists to suggest that oxygen deprivation of the brain may the pivotal issue responsible for
progression of dementias and Alzheimer’s disease. Are nanobacteria, tiny infections in blood vessels that block
blood flow, the cause?
Webinar #4 on the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease.
More novel and intensive therapies to address the risk factors of the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease,
including intravenous (IV) therapies for detoxification, regeneration (phospholipid Rx), neurotransmitter
restoration.
As we age, we can be more susceptible to nutritional deficiencies, digestion problems and malabsorption of
nutrients (B vitamins, amino acids, fatty acids, minerals) through the intestines. IV therapies can rapidly deliver
nutritional assistance and circumvent these limitations. IV EDTA IV and IV DMPS to remove toxic metals can
accelerate brain detoxification.
Oxygen as peroxide and ozone can be delivered via IVs to address co-infectious risk factors (discussed in
previous webinar). IV phospholipids (phosphatidyl choline) to repair cell membranes (addressed in Webinar #2) can
accelerate repair. IV precursor amino acids can help restore neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, GABA
and endorphins.
Webinar #5 on the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease.
More novel and intensive therapies to address the risk factors of the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease,
including autologous stem cell therapies, will be discussed. Delivery of ones own stem cells via IVs has been used
to treat other chronic, degenerative brain disorders, such as stroke.
If the 7R’s, as well as other risk factors and intensive brain detoxification have been addressed, this may
prepare an individual suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease to receive maximum benefit from autologous
stem cell therapy.
Webinar #6 on the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease plus Summary.
Hypothesis #1: Amassed data suggests that the dementias and Alzheimer’s
disease are preventable and treatable in the early stages.
Hypothesis #2: Anecdotal evidence suggests that a full array of integrative therapies provided
for individuals suffering from the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease could at the very least arrest these so-call
“hopeless” conditions and in a significant percentage of individuals, reverse them.
Hypothesis #3: Evidence-based outcome data to quantify the success of such therapies for
individuals suffering from the dementias and Alzheimer’s disease, provided at the National Integrative Health
Associates, can provide new hope for patients, families, caregivers, communities, and society as a whole.
